Lolla, Ann Siang

As a small-plates outfit with alcohols taking up half of their menu, Lolla hardly peps itself for day. Yet here you are, sipping champagne and root beer (more accurately, mildly fizzy birch beer that hints at chestnut and malt) with names unheard of to the hoi polloi, facing a bar top with backs to windows full of sunlight.
